Successful project for ANDRITZ AG: precision, expertise and top quality

Another successfully completed project once again confirms the close and proven cooperation between Rejlek and ANDRITZ AG. As a long-standing customer, ANDRITZ relies on the expertise and specialised know-how of our Modelshop Vienna for demanding model-making projects – with a result that has earned high praise.

As part of this project, a scaled-down model of a pump was created for use at an international trade fair stand. Models like this must not only look good, but also meet the highest technical and quality standards, particularly with regard to transport, assembly and handling at the trade fair.

The model was manufactured using the SLS (selective laser sintering) 3D printing process. This process enables a high level of detail and stable components – an important basis for later use. However, the real challenge lay in intelligently dividing the model into colour-separated individual parts to enable high-quality painting.

This is where Modelshop Vienna’s special expertise comes into play: during the data preparation stage, our engineers specifically modified the components to integrate invisible connecting elements. The subsequent precise gluing and screwing ensured a stable, durable construction with no visible transitions. It is precisely this combination of technical expertise, experience and precision craftsmanship that makes the difference.

The customer benefited from a comprehensive, high-quality package: from data preparation, production and final assembly to secure packaging in a sturdy flight case.
